Employment is the fundamental element of our daily lives. In our society, it is often how we define ourselves and offers us the resources to assist to be self-sufficient and economically independent. It gives us a sense of purpose and allows us to contribute to our community. Unfortunately, with the current economic environment, far too many people are without a job!

The Community Employment Center engages and educates community residents who are faced with persistent unemployment and underemployment challenges by providing counseling and referral services that enable them to become self sufficient. Through pre-employment job readiness training, job development, and recruitment services, our personal one-on-one approach is our signature strategy providing individualized services to our clients.

• Access to computers, internet, telephones, fax and copiers
• Assistance with unemployment claims
• Access to ULEC’s Job Bank
• Financial Literacy
• Case management services to ensure post-employment success.
• Access to Services for Mental Health needs, Senior Services, Learning and Physical Disabilities, Job Training, Driver License Restoration and Criminal Offenders, etc.
