It is of increasing importance that individuals and families be able to make informed financial decisions in these trying economic times. ULEC has been administering financial literacy counseling to individuals and families residing in Essex County for over five years. The goal of ULEC’s financial literacy program is to provide a foundation of basic knowledge about financial services, the importance of saving, interest, and credit.
