It is absolutely correct is that the number one priority for all American’s is to shelter in place and follow all of the CDC’s (cdc.gov), protocols and guidelines to bend the curve which reduces the spread and relives the unbelievable burden on our health care system. And like Surgeon General Jerome Adams said, act as if you have the coronavirus and use protective covering so you will protect others. Although getting the health crisis under control is the number one priority, it is impossible to ignore or feel the devastating impact the crisis has had on our pocketbooks.
As we have seen over the last two weeks, over 10 million people have filed for unemployment insurance. Sadly, that number will only increase in the coming weeks.
